Classical SING MOVE PLAY

Music

Discover how classical music and kids go hand in hand. Classical Sing Move Play classes are available for train the trainer models, digital experiences, and in person bookings. 45 minute classes explore opera, symphonic works, and cultural folks songs from around the world.

Storytime

Featuring books written by Alisa Magallón, this 30 minute singing story time program explores rhyming and singing paired with theatrical interpretations of text. Includes extension activities that promote collaboration and creativity, through the visual arts and social emotional learning. Spanish/English bilingual available for select titles.

Alisa Magallón M.M, is a dynamic leader, musician, and arts administrator. She is the founder of Classical Sing Move Play, LLC and a highly sought-after consultant for community engagement and arts programming nationally, with a strong focus in Houston, TX. Magallón has led education and community engagement efforts for nonprofit arts organizations since 2009, predominantly with Houston Grand Opera, Minnesota Opera, and Young Audiences of Houston.Recent clients include: Opera Montana, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Houston Symphony, Houston Methodist Hospital, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Woodlands Pavilion Center, Harris County Public Libraries, Discovery Green, Children’s Museum Houston, Fort Bend Discovery Center, and Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.She is the author of several children's books, a board member of the Houston Boychoir, and sits on the leadership committee for Arts Connect Houston. Alisa hold degrees from Luther College and Northwestern Univeristy.
